Former Veterans Affairs Secretary The Honorable David J. Shulkin, M.D. Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology, and Prevention of the Zucker School of Medicine sent a letter to President Biden, recommending he award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Rosie Torres, Le Roy Torres, Jon Stewart, and John Feal. In the letter, Dr. Shulkin commends their perseverance during the fight to get The PACT Act signed into law.
