Jon Stewart and leading veteran organizations to hold toxic exposure presser at DC motorcycle event
On Memorial Day weekend, veteran advocates Jon Stewart and John Feal and a coalition of veterans organizations, will hold the “Pass The PACT Act Rally DC” press event during Rolling to Remember, a three-day event raising awareness of our missing and action and veteran suicide. “Pass the PACT Act” will highlight the urgent need for the Senate to pass the Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2021 or Honoring our PACT Act.

BACKGROUND:
Last year, the Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2021, or Honoring our PACT Act, was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives to conclusively address toxic exposure as a cost of war. This critical bipartisan legislation has the support of 65 Veterans Service Organizations, advocates Jon Stewart and John Feal. In March, the Honoring our PACT Act passed in the House with a broad bipartisan vote, and moved on to the U.S. Senate
